Rice University is working on an implantable device to help shake off jet lag
Jet lagged travelers have tried sleeping pills and eye masks. They’ve avoided naps and, well, at least contemplated the recommendation to forgo coffee. Some have even calculated their light exposure prior to departure, voyaging into the sun or staying hidden inside based on how far they’re flying and if they’re headed east or west. But in the not-too-distant future, these tactics could be replaced by a medical device. More at the Houston Chronicle
