Miniature magnetic neural stimulators

Collaborative work with Kaiyuan Yang's lab at Rice shows the first programmable millimeter-sized bioelectronic device based on the magnetoelectric effect. These types of tiny implants could be used as neural stimulators to treat pain and other disorders.
